Dear Capt. White,  I want to thank you again for all your coordination, attention to detail, thoughtful suggestions  and sensitivity you showed me for the planning of my father’s sea tribute.  Even though some time has passed since his death my emotions are still very fragile and your understated support was very much appreciated.  I take comfort in knowing that we achieved the right tone and sophistication in the Navy tribute.  I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day and now I have a beautiful memory to cherish. The image I hold dear is the wide expanse of ocean with bright sunshine glinting off the waves and the roses slowing expanding their circle of love. When I look at the ocean I will always see my father.  Thank you for everything.

Sincerely,

Hilary M.  Boston, MA

Capt Brad,

I just wanted to let you know how thankful I am for all your hard work.  Everything you did is greatly appreciated; you excel at excellent service.  Since I was not able to travel and be present, being able to participate via the phone made me (and those gathered with me), feel as if I were there.  To hear you being choked up as you spoke about my husband really sent the message that you care about what you are doing and those of us left behind.

Being unable to be there I wanted to let you know the slide show is such a valuable part of your service.  I certainly hope the video ideas I suggested become something you can use to expand your services even more.
…again Thank You for scattering my husbands ashes at one of his favorite vacation places.  I highly recommend New England Burials at Sea to anyone wishing to have their ashes scattered at sea.

Capt Brad and Crew

Thank you so much for the exceptional treatment that you have given my family.

We can not begin to tell you how much easier you have made this process for us.  You have our sincere thanks and highest recommendations.

All our best

-Kimberlee and Rebecca Labranch, Maine

Captain Brad ,

I want to extend a very sincere thank you.  Despite the weather, the memorial yesterday was far beyond our expectations.  You and the crew did a terrific job of organizing the ceremony and answering everyone’s questions.  My sister and I were both very impressed with your services.  Neither of us expected the burial to be so emotionally difficult since some time had gone by since our parents passing, but saying the final goodbye was harder than anything before.  The location could not have been more perfect.  We spent countless years at Hermit’s island …camping in the summer and hiking in the winter.  It is a favorite spot of ours and we always felt close to our family there.  Now every time we look out off the beach we will know that are parents(& Molly) are with us at our favorite place.

I would greatly appreciate a cd of the pictures and music.

Again – thank you for your compassion, knowledge and  assistance in organizing the whole memorial.  Hopefully we can see you in the future on a happier note to catch some Tuna.

Enjoy your summer!

-Rebecca

comments-fullbodyBrad,

Hi Brad,

Thank you for everything. We were so happy to have found the perfect way to say goodbye to our Dad. He was so talented, spanned so many decades from the 20’s to the new millenium, that we wanted to do something really special to celebrate his life and what he meant to all of us. Fortunately Nancy and John saw your ad in Yankee. Once we were in contact with you you let us know what to expect and how we could personalize the experience of a service at sea which we did and are we ever glad that we did! You and your crew are just the best.

Thanks for everything,

-Temple S. -Framingham, MA

Brad,

Everyone was thoroughly pleased with yesterday’s events, even Leo who “has no use” for boats or the water and Auntie Jo who was very apprehensive about getting on a boat were very happy with how everything went. Thank you for your attention to detail, patience with the elderly, and your efforts to make what is a painful event as smooth and stress free as possible.

Just for the record: Josephine age 94 soon to be 95, Dan age 85, Leo age 79, Daryl age 71, Helen age 70.

Sincerely,

Linda

P.S. Also my gratitude for allowing me to drive the boat !

Dear Brad,

Thank you for assisting us in bringing my grandfather to his resting place. We really enjoyed the service and I think my grandfather would’ve too. We loved your hospitality on board and we thought it was very nice for you to have allowed my boyfriend and my sister to drive your boat. Thank you for the pictures, they will add a lot to our memories. We will keep you in mind for any future ventures, especially fishing ventures.

Sincerely,

-The Au Family. Quincy, MA

burial_comment_jan_dDear Captain Brad,

My Family and I just want to thank you for everything you did which helped make my mother’s ash scattering so memorable.

The day was perfect, seas were calm, the boat – gorgeous, and the service impeccable. Thanks for accommodating our rather quirky “stick-throwing” as part of the ceremony. As we said so often that day, “Peg” would’ve loved it!!

We’ve told everyone we know about New England Burials at Sea… Thanks again for providing such a dignified farewell.

Sincerely,

-Jan D. Marshfield, MA

…and when you look at the water, you will always see me.

-Long time family friend Mrs. Robert Haufler, Scituate, MA

Dear Capt Brad,

As I scattered my mom’s ashes into the water, I had such a sense of my duties being brought to a close…. So for us to be able to literally take our mum home, and to return her to the place that she so loved…wasn’t just a celebration of her life. It was an act of healing for our own.

My mum had been sick for some time and I had cared for her at home, by myself. It had been a difficult time, and I was struck by the sense of release that I felt, and feel still.

We especially appreciated your easy accommodation of our family’s special needs. My nephew is still talking about having taken the wheel; it did wonders for his ego at a time when he sorely needed it.

Really, we just had a wonderful day, on a number of levels, and we thank you again for your sensitivity, skill and patience.

Sincerely,

-Tracy G. & Family, Boston, MA

Captain Brad,  Just wanted to say thank you to you too.  This was a first for all of us and the service was beautiful.

I told my family and friends how beautiful everything was and that that’s how I want to go when the time comes.  My husband kids with me and says he’s not going to be able to have me cremated.  But I’ve told him and my kids I’d rather be in the ocean, than in a big hole in the cemetary.

My Mom and Dad thought the service was lovely also, as did my Aunts and Cousins and siblings.

 Thanks again.

Capt Brad..

Thank you so much for a wonderful ceremony.  I so truly appreciate all that you have done for my family and my Grandmother.   …”I found this company through the internet. Their website is very informative and answers alot of questions. This company does attended and unattended scattering of ashes at sea. If unattended the website instructs as to how to ship the cremains. They follow strict EPA guidelines and are very caring as well as professional. We had an unattended scattering 3 miles out to sea. . Brad White was prompt in providing us additional info, and it was enough so we knew exactly how the burial would go, what his credentials were, and what needed to be accomplished before hand. A straight unattended scattering of cremains is only $395. however, we ordered a DVD of the service and had flowers scattered also. He even made my daughter part of the service by including her via phone on the ceremony and described the final resting place of the cremains! We got to add to and edit the ceremony ourselves. Capt. White always kept us updated and responded to our inquiries immediately. Capt. Brad even gave us additional ideas as well as providing us with beautiful memories.”

 THANKS!!
