Optional Music and Live Bagpipes for Ash Scatterings and Burials at Sea
Musical selections, poetry, readings and other requests are accomodated. We are equipped with a CD, Cassette Player and IPOD. Please alert the Captain in advance if you will wish to play music or other selections during the ceremony.
The Bagpipes of Dunvegan
Piper, Mr. M. J. MacKay carries on this MacKay tradition by providing piping in full Highland attire from Ghillie Brogues shoes to a Glengarry cap and uses African Blackwood bagpipes for your burial at sea event.
Mr. MacKay was awarded tuition at the College of Piping P.E.I , The Invermark Piping School and the Gaelic College on the Isle of Skye Scotland to study.
Mr. MacKay’s services include greeting selections, interment selections and a departure selection.
